Women’s Health Victoria (WHV) welcomes the opportunity to provide input into the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System.
WHV’s submission shows that sex and gender-based inequality drives unequal mental health outcomes between women and men, and that, by addressing gender inequality and taking a gendered approach to mental health, we have the opportunity to significantly improve outcomes for women and girls, as well as men and boys and gender diverse people.
