Seeing is Believing: a national framework for championing gender equality in advertising

This framework is an Australian-first national blueprint for long-term change to promote gender equality and address the drivers of violence against women in the advertising setting.

The framework has been developed as part of a multi-year project led by Women’s Health Victoria, in collaboration with advertising industry representatives and expert partners, and funded by the Victorian Government. Our mission is to raise industry and public awareness, reinforce positive behaviours, and empower people to take action in shaping how women are represented in the stories we tell and consume.
