Submission to the Respect@Work consultation on remaining legislative recommendations

The survey questions relate to each of the remaining six legislative proposals that the Government is consulting on, as well as an outstanding legislative recommendation:

• Issue 1: Recommendation 16(c) – Hostile work environment       
• Issue 2: Recommendation 17 – Positive duty
• Issue 3: Recommendation 18 – Enforcement powers for the Australian Human Rights Commission
• Issue 4: Recommendation 19 – Inquiry powers for the Australian Human Rights Commission
• Issue 5: Recommendation 23 – Representative actions
• Issue 6: Recommendation 25 – Costs protections
• Outstanding legislative recommendation: Recommendation 28 – Fair Work Act Amendment

The questions are focused on understanding whether legislative changes are necessary, and if so, determining the appropriate amendments to implement the relevant recommendation.
