While WHV supports reform to improve protections against religious discrimination for all people in Australia, we are extremely concerned that the exposure draft of the Religious Discrimination Bill privileges the right to religious freedom over the rights of women and marginalised groups to be free from discrimination and to access health, employment, education and other services.
The submission makes recommendations to address these issues.
The content is endorsed by eight other Victorian women's health organisations.
