Do you have early menopause or premature ovarian insufficiency (POI)? Have you found it challenging to find information online? Then this resource is for you!

The Healthtalk Australia Early Menopause: Women’s Experiences online resource is based on the video and audio-recorded stories of 30 women from a range of backgrounds with different experiences of early menopause or POI (spontaneous or caused by medical treatment). It also features extensive links to evidence-based health information, a downloadable ‘Question Prompt List’ that you can take to medical appointments, and a comprehensive Resources & Information page.

A key output of a NHMRC research project on which Women’s Health Victoria was a partner, the resource explores not only the health aspects of early menopause but also the impacts on women’s personal and social lives, and is aimed at supporting and informing other women with this diagnosis, their family members and friends.

This resource was created by Healthtalk Australia, Monash University & RMIT University in partnership with Women’s Health Victoria.
