Women’s Health Victoria welcomes the announcement made on Tuesday in the 2024-25 Victorian State Budget of renewed funding to provide preventative health promotion and education to Victorian women, as well as a range of other important funding commitments for women’s health.

Women’s Health Victoria welcomes the women’s health funding announcements made this week in the 2023-24 Victorian State Budget, noting there are a broad range of measures that will have a significant positive impact on the health and wellbeing of women, girls and trans and gender diverse people across the state.
Women’s Health Victoria together with other Women’s Health Services across Victoria have come together to call for more funding and support to advocate for meaningful investment in public health, wellbeing and intersectional equality.
Today Women’s Health Victoria joins with 11 other women’s health services, along with Rainbow Health Australia, in calling for an immediate uplift in investment to secure the health and wellbeing of Victorian women.
