Take a Stand Workplace Program

Take a Stand is an award-winning program that supports workplaces to prevent and address domestic violence. The program supports workplaces to become leaders in taking a stand against sexism and promoting a respectful and safe workplace for all.

The first of its kind in Australia, Take a Stand continues to lead the way as a workplace bystander program to prevent domestic violence and other forms of violence against women.

What is Take a Stand?

Take a Stand recognises that workplaces are significantly affected by domestic violence. Workplaces can also play a key role in changing the culture that allows it to occur.

Take a Stand is a positive bystander program that engages all levels of the workplace in preventing and addressing domestic violence.

Three Ways To Get Involved

  1. As a Workplace: Become a leader in preventing and addressing domestic violence by implementing the program in your workplace.

  2. As a Licensed Partner: License Take a Stand to deliver the program to workplaces in your region

  3. As a Facilitator: Become a Take a Stand facilitator to deliver training in workplaces. Training is conducted by a team of male and female facilitators. Women’s Health Victoria provides facilitators with the training and resources needed to deliver Take a Stand. Contact us to register your interest.
