Women’s Health Victoria provides essential training to health and community sector professionals, enhancing their understanding of gender equity and its impact on health.

Our training helps professionals understand how gender bias and inequality, in both society and the health system, lead to poorer outcomes for women and gender-diverse people – and how to address it.

These courses are an important part of our approach to building individual, workforce and healthcare system capability, to achieve the transformational change required to create a more gender equal society.

Our course are centred around three main training topics

WHV offers comprehensive in-person and online training workshops that equip individuals and workplaces with the tools to implement real, meaningful change in their specific context. WHV can assist you in the development of gender impact assessments, and gender-equitable policies and programs through our consulting services. Together, we can help to identify gaps and develop a roadmap towards a workplace culture that truly prioritises gender equality.
