From Gender Integration to Gender Transformation Forum : proceedings

Video recordings of presentatiions given at a Forum on 4th December 2014 hosted by Women’s Health Victoria (WHV).

The Forum explored the principles of gendered health promotion and provided practical tools and evidence-based strategies for gender transformative practice – to guide policy makers, researchers and health promotion practitioners.

The event also featured the Australian launch of the book: Making it better : gender-transformative health promotion

This new resource was developed by the British Columbia Centre of Excellence in Womens' Health in Canada, home to the Promoting Health in Women (PhiWomen) Project.

The authors are international experts in the field of women’s health promotion.

Women’s Health Victoria served on the Advisory Group to support the PhiWomen Project, and WHV staff contributed to several chapters of the book.

WHV is proud to be a partner in the development and launch of this significant resource.
