The Women’s Welcome Centre

The Women’s Welcome Centre (WWC) is a free confidential service. It offers information, support and referral options on a wide range of women’s health issues.

WWC’s experienced staff are available by telephone or email. Women’s health information is also available in a range of languages other than English and interpreters are available.

Please note, The Women’s Welcome Centre is only able to provide general consumer health information. Visitors requiring specific and personalised health advice are asked to contact their GP or other health care provider.

Better Health Channel

The Better Health Channel contains a wide variety of factsheets on women’s health issues along with an extensive list of Victorian services and health professionals.

It has a section devoted to women’s sexual and reproductive health.


healthdirect is a Commonwealth Government of Australia initiative which provides access to quality information from leading health information providers.

It includes the National Pregnancy Birth and Baby Helpline.
