Final report of the National Health and Hospitals Reform Commission

“A healthier future for all Australians” is the result of 16-month Government inquiry into the workings of the Australian health system. The extensive final report provides 123 recommendations for national health reform. The reforms aim to: tackle major access and equity issues that affect consumer health outcomes, redesign the Australian health system to enable it to better respond to emerging challenges, and create a flexible and sustainable system for the future.
