This training has been developed by Our Watch, the national body for the prevention of violence against women and their children.
Please note: this training is not about how you can respond to women who experience violence or men who perpetrate violence. Rather, it focuses on how to change the underlying norms, practices and structures in society that drive violence against women.
This one-day course is for anyone wanting to lead change in the community, government and business sectors; cultural, faith, sports, education and arts organisations; and beyond!

Linden Deathe is the senior health promotion officer and training coordinator at Women’s Health Victoria and brings 10 years of experience developing and delivering gender equity training in the international development and prevention of violence against women sectors. Linden holds a Master of Gender and Development and a Cert IV in training and assessment. Linden is originally from Canada and only sometimes misses the snow.
Bianca Walsh is the health promotion officer and training coordinator at Women’s Health Victoria. Bianca brings over seven years’ experience managing and facilitating training to diverse volunteer programs that support newly arrived communities and robust community facilitation and training experience within the social justice and non for-profit sector.
