Who We Are
Women's Health Victoria is a statewide women’s health promotion, information and advocacy service. We are a health promotion charity with most of our funding coming from various parts of the Victorian Government Department of Human Services.
We are one of the nine regional and three statewide services which make up the Victorian Women's Health Program.
History
Women’s Health Victoria (formerly the Healthsharing Women’s Health Resource Service) arose from the 1993 amalgamation of Healthsharing Women (established in 1987) and the Women’s Health Resource Collective (established in 1983).
