The Clearinghouse identifies, collects and provides access to published women’s health information. It’s purpose is to support the work of Women’s Health Victoria and to build the capacity of others to incorporate a gendered approach to health.

The Library can be viewed by appointment during WHV business hours. Where copyright permits, copies of articles can be supplied externally.
Staff from Women’s Health Association of Victoria agencies may individually register to access a range of services including: borrowing, literature searching, and document delivery.

Consumer health information
The Clearinghouse does not provide consumer health information or advice. Requests for such information are referred to other agencies, some of which are listed on our Health Information Links page.
BreaCan (a service of Women’s Health Victoria) provides information and support to women diagnosed with a gynaecological or breast cancer, their friends and family. BreaCan resources can be accessed by consumers and health professionals by contacting BreaCan directly.
