Women's sexual and reproductive health: a literature review

Covers: the incidence and prevalence of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) amongst women, contraception, safer sex practices and respectful relationships, sexualisation of women and girls in the media and popular culture, termination of pregnancy, at-risk and diverse populations of women, and education as a preventative strategy. Highlights the gendered nature of sexual and reproductive experience and behaviour, which has implications for policy, practice, health education, promotion, and prevention strategies.
