The Victorian Law Reform Commission (VLRC) Report and Recommendations on the Law of Abortion provides objective analysis of abortion in Victoria, and is an MP’s most authoritative resource. Key statements include: (1) Almost 95% of all abortions occur within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy and (2) Less than 1% of all abortions occur after 20 weeks.
