Senate inquiry into domestic violence in Australia

Women’s Health Victoria’s submission makes recommendations for government action on: data collection by sex and diversity; gender equality in laws, policies and practices; Federal leadership of primary prevention programs in partnership with State and local governments; DV service sector workforce education and structural coordination; funding for tertiary response services; coordination of prevention and response at all levels; and support for statewide and local health promotion to prevent violence against women.
