Royal Commission into Family Violence (Victoria)
Women’s Health Victoria’s submission focuses on the need for the Victorian Government to invest in a comprehensive primary prevention strategy to address the root causes of violence against women. The submission also highlights urgent issues relating to how the system is currently responding to victims of violence. Sections include:
- primary prevention and gender equity;
- the role of women’s health services and Women’s Health Victoria in driving primary prevention;
- gaps in existing knowledge and approaches;
- responding to violence against women and their children;
- 24 recommendations; and
