National women's health policy

Submission by Women’s Health Victoria in response to the National women’s health policy. Makes nine recommendations for: (1) bipartisan support; (2) a joined up approach across states and territories; (3) a ‘dual strategy’ model; (4) mandated incorporation of gender sensitive practice into policy and service delivery; (5) a consistent model across all states and territories; (6) publication of landmark documents; (7) a commitment to research and knowledge translation; (8) intersection with other portfolio areas across government; and (9) a legislative framework that ensures all policies take a gendered approach.
