Housing

Clearinghouse Connector – December 2008

This edition of the Clearinghouse Connector provides electronic links to resources that highlight a number of the social and economic issues women face in relation to housing.

Adequate shelter is basic to human survival yet a growing number of women are homeless or vulnerable to homelessness. While the reasons for homelessness are complex, domestic violence and gendered roles which limit access to employment and income, are significant causes of homelessness among women.
