Victoria at cutting rdge of human rights reform
The Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission 2008 report on the operation of the ‘Victorian charter of human rights and responsibilities: emerging change’, tabled in parliament today, shows that while the Charter is starting to make a positive impact, more needs to be done to ensure people can stand up for their rights.
