Review: equal opportunity for women in the workplace
The Australian Government will review the effectiveness and efficiency of the EOWA and the EOWW Act in promoting equal opportunity for women in the workplace, taking into account the economic, social and legislative changes that have occurred since the last inquiry in 1998. An issues paper will be released to commence a broad consultation process with employers, employees, unions, women’s advocacy groups and members of the public.
