Major health reforms funded in 2010-2011 federal budget
On coming to office, the Australian Government commissioned three key reports to examine critical areas of the health system: the National Health and Hospitals Reform Commission, the Preventative Health Taskforce, and the Primary Care Strategy. The Budget provides $7.3 billion funding to implement the Government’s response to the recommendations made by the three resulting reports.
