First national male health policy launched
Australia’s first National Male Health Policy encourages men of all ages to take action to improve their own health and recognises that this requires information, assistance and support, across 6 priority areas. It is supported by Federal Government funding of $16.7 million for new initiatives to address male health challenges. The policy has been developed through extensive consultations with health services, health professionals, public forums.
