Women’s Health Victoria developed the Labia Library to bust a few common myths about what labia really look like. After doing some research into what was motivating increasing numbers of women to seek female genital cosmetic surgery, we identified that many women and girls weren’t aware of how diverse women’s genitals can be.
There is a photo gallery that displays unaltered photos of women’s genitalia showing just how unique everyone is. The resource also supports positive body image for women and provides information, facts and referral to services in Victoria.
Since 2013, the Labia Library has been viewed by nearly 6 million people all over the world!
